Two people were convicted of federal drug charges involving the manufacture of methamphetamine in Lincoln County.

May 9, 2008, 12:37 PM CDT

Lincoln County — Ralph Knox and Gina Morrison were convicted of charges of possession of pseudoephedrine, with the intention of manufacturing methamphetamine. That's according to United States Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway and Lincoln County Sheriff Kent Hanshew

Knox, 39, of Troy, MO, pleaded guilty Thursday.

Morrison, 43, of Warren County was convicted earlier this month of one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine knowing that it would be used to manufacture a controlled substance.

Each now faces a maximum penalty of twenty years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.

Sentencings have been set for July 24 for Knox, and June 27 for Morrison.
