Fallen Officer Memorial Hummer
A memorial Hummer bearing the names of fallen officers stops in St. Louis Friday.

May 9, 2008, 12:24 PM CDT

St. Louis — A memorial Hummer H3 bearing the names of fallen police officers will make a stop at the North Patrol Division of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Friday.

The vehicle is heading to Washington, D.C. for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial next week.

The names of St. Louis Police Officers Norvelle T. Brown and Stephen R. Jeraback, who both died in the line of duty in 2007, will appear on the vehicle.

The Drive 2 Remember Fallen Officers organization sponsors the tour every year. The hummer is traveling from Vancouver, B.C., south to Los Angeles, CA, then east to Washington, D.C., to help raise awareness about officers killed in the line of duty.

Friday it stops in north St. Louis at 2:30pm at 4014 N. Union.
