St. Louis — A St. Louis man accused of fleeing the scene of an accident that killed two men now faces charges of involuntary manslaughter.

The Circuit Attorney's office on Thursday also charged Courtney Cooper, 28, with leaving the scene of an accident.

The wreck happened Sunday.

Cooper allegedly attempted to pass two men in another truck who were trying to pull over to a diner. The vehicles collided and both trucks overturned onto their sides.

Police said Timothy Kreidler, 40, of Valley Park and David Ditzler, 44, of St. Louis were pronounced dead at the scene.
