MS River Flooding

St. Louis —
The National Weather Service said this week's rain should slow the decline of already swollen rivers in eastern Missouri but isn't likely to cause additional flooding.
A Weather Service hydrologist said the Mississippi River had already crested
and was starting to go down before the rain came.
