Jefferson Co. Man Convicted On Meth Charges
May 7, 2008, 4:34 PM CDT

Jefferson County — David Stolts, 51, of Dittmer, MO, was convicted Tuesday on federal methamphetamine charges. That's according to United States Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway.

"Stolts is facing a significant amount of prison time for his possession and distribution of a large amount of methamphetamine," said Hanaway.

After a two-day trial, Stolts was convicted of one count of possession with intent to distribute in excess of 500 grams of methamphetamine. He now faces ten years to life in prison and/or fines up to $4 million when he is sentenced on July 31.
